03+ KX 125 Squish

About to do a top end on my 04 KX 125 and am going to set squish. What squish clearance is recommended for a 03+ KX 125? I'm running 100% AvGas 100LL at 32:1 with Maxima Super-M premix.

Also, do you recommend dialing in squish with the base gasket thickness or by machining the head?

Aim for 1mm, base gaskets are the easiest way to go.

Do a squish band test and send to RB Designs. Cheapest power bump for sure. It’s $75
