02 kx clamps on an 04?

I have a set of PC upper and lower clamps for 2002 kx125/250. will they work On my 2004 kx125?

How I read this it says yes with number plate modification. Shouldn't you have a stem and bearing, though?

Saw this also but don't know that it really helps. Basically says 99-01 is a 46mm fork and 02 began the 48mm.

I'm not saying they will or wont work but the Kawasaki part numbers for their stock upper and lower clamps have different part numbers for the 2002 and the 2004 kx125. If you have the clamps and have the bike I'd say take some time and try it.
