rm 250 parts interchangability

can anyone help? im after knowing what engine parts are interchangeable between rm models, in particular the power valver actuator and governor. im about to oder some new bits but im unsure on what year mine is although im fairly sure its an 05

Look at the VIN number on the frame on the steering neck. There are letters and numbers. Just count to the 10th position and it tells you the year of the bike. If the 10th character is 5, then it's an '05. If it's a 6, it's an 06. If it's 4, then it's an '04. You can check part numbers on motosports.com for compatibility, but European bikes may be a little different.

do early engines go into later frames? the frame is definitely an 05 but the engine im not sure. some of the pwervalve bits have put doubt in my mind, that's all

The frames and crankcases changed in 1996, so I'd say no.

It will work in a '93, according to the interchanges. There is no reference to a '94, however - the '92 or '93 may not fit into the '94.

Hello everybody, just having a question about cylinder. 

I own a 2008 RM250, and my cylinder (37F6) needs some nikasil. I have a contact who are running a cylinder exchange business but they do not have a (37F6) in stock. But they have (F0; F1; F2) my question is which number of F cylinders is usable on my 08 Rm250. Have been trying find info but haven't found any
