Ok i'am wanting to but a 2011 kx250f but at the same time there is a 08 kx250f with tons of aftermarket parts on craigslist for 3500 it appears to be well taken care of . I was gonna trade a gsxr600 in and pay $1000 for the 2011. just not sure what to do any suggestions.

The '08 has probably been ridden since fall of 2007. The problem with thumpers is that they have many moving parts and when things start to go wrong with them it can get VERY expensive, parts-wise and more importantly, labor-wise. I'm not saying that the '07 is a piece of junk, I'm just saying that you might ride it for three months and have to dump $1,000 or more into it. Then again, you might ride the thing forever without any trouble. I would spend the extra on the '11. Peace of mind goes a long way.

Ha ha. I too am a two stroke guy. I switched back after six years of riding four strokes and I'm beyond happy that I did. I thought about asking him the same question but I didn't want to light that candle. Well done.
