Does anyone know if a wr250/450 (03-06) tank and shroud set will fit an 06 yz125? I'm trying to get a bit more fuel capacity without having a giant ugly desert tank for my 06yz125.

Highly unlikely. Different sized frames and different shaped frames due to steel vs aluminum.

You could try filling your tank with boiling water and add a few pounds of air through a valve stem in the vent hose. This will make your stock tank hold a little more gas, just don't put to much air in it, only a few pounds does the job.

It works, but doesn't add to much capacity to the tank. Back in the day we did that for the long motos especially in mud or sand tracks.

The best oversized tank for that bike is made by Zip-Ty. It's a 3.0 gal tank, but is very slim and does not push the seat up at all and carries the fuel very low on the chassic.
