Having major issues with this. I don't have a service manual, but i have all of the numbers i'm suppose to have. My problem is all the info i am getting on sag doesn't really get that technical about it. My problem is the locations to take the measurements at. I know the axle bolt is one of them, but for the other point i find things that tell me rear fender bolt, 90 deg from floor, perpendicular to swing arm and on. All of these places end up with a different adjustment to achieve the correct sag. I know that I compare bike on stand to be on, but depending on the upper measurement location i have to adjust the nut differently to achieve it(from its corresponding free standing location). I know this is because of angles. So should it be perpendicular to the floor or taken at the same angle as the shock. Please help. This is killing me.
Thanks in advance.

I m gonna assume you have the correct springs on your bike for your weight? It takes 2 people to set the sag, grab a buddy or if you have a local suspension guy close, get his advice! Transworld mx had a video awhile back with Mathes doung the video.Good luck. What type of bike year, make model? stock suspension?

Saw the factory connetion video on the site and it sounds like you want to pick a point that is in the arc of the swing arm, which makes perfect sense to me.

i've got a yardstick with a nail in it that I stick in the axle, and stick a pencil (sharp side out) in the seat bolt hole to mark the distance
