So I parted out my 2009 KX450 and have sold about 90% of it. The last large piece I have is the frame with no swing arm or sub frame. I have the title for it and ideally I would like to sell it to some one doing a 2 stroke conversion or some one who legitimately needs a new frame. What I'm worried about is that some one will buy the frame to transfer over parts from a stolen bike. Is there anything I can do on my end besides be picky who I sell it to?

You are selling it. Why do you care who/what is done with it?

If you're the original owner then the bike is warranty registered in your name with Kawasaki. Make sure you have a legit state issued bill of sale signed by the buyer. If it ever becomes an issue you'll be covered.

If you're selling the frame, the title gets transferred.
Once the buyer signs it and it's notarized, what the new owner does with it isn't your problem.

Can you read? Because he doesn't want to enable those low life bike thieving thugs!

Casper, I think if you get a potential buyer on the phone you may be able to feel them out and get a better idea of who they are. Other than that, try to sell on a forum instead of craigslist.
