Seen someone do it on here. Wondering how much metal fornication is required to make it work. Anyone done it before?

I'm not sure any amount of fornication could get it done....

I guess there really isn't much advice to be given. Just start cutting and welding.

Yeah but if somebody else has done it before it could make life easier, plus theres always something thats going to get you off guard. I fairly sure he said he had to extend the RM seat or something like that.

The subframe should bolt up. You will need to move the silencer mounts. You will need the 250F air box, but use your RM air boot. I believe it fits directly then. Like slosh said, you need to tweak the seat as well. I think just by extending the foam, but not entirely sure.

Interested as well. I have a subframe and airbox already, but am burned out on fabrication right now or I'd attempt to figure it out.

May I ask what you will gain from this conversion?

A bunch of flatbillers, sucking your dick at the track, would be my guess.

No real advantage at all, I just like the modern look and I think its cool to have something different than all the other RM's. Performance is obviously the most important part about a bike but I still love to stare at them.

As opposed to a bunch of white hairs sucking your dick at the track over your 500 AF? LaughingLaughingTongue

No, it's usually flat billing kids, as well. Old guys don't give a fuck, they can afford way better shit, than a 500AF. Besides, I usually park so far away from everyone, the old guys can't make the walk. Sadly, kids have energy.
