RM125 piston question

Recently scored a brand new cylinder/head combo for an 04 RM125 I am rebuilding for my youngest one to ride. My question is which piston to use? Aren't most aftermarket pistons slightly oversized? Should I go OEM? Thanks for your input.

I have been running ProX piston in my RM125 with no issues. That is likely because they are from the same manufacturer as the OEM.

Measure the bore of the cylinder and get the proper sizes piston, its used so no telling what you have.

As mentioned, both pieces are brand new OEM in the wrapper. I do believe Pro-X parts are manufactured to OEM specs. Thanks for the input.

He is referring to the fact that they offer A, B, C, and D size pistons. They are each .01mm larger than the previous, strting at A. Usually a B piston is fine. You can measure the bore but you will need a bore gage to do it correctly.
