I remember no matter how manytime i bled my front brake on my 06 RM250 which was still like new, the front brak was absolute "muff cabbage " (southpark reference lol) compared to all thr other japanese brands from that era those fron brakes which had a steel braided line and by then 2 years into oem cr style routing they were absolutely shit front brakes stock...it really made for a frustrating ride at times....looks like im not alone

I put the lectron on my 07 RM125. Probably the best investment on the whole bike. Easy to tune and only had to make slight adjustments and it runs like a champ. Not to mention the amount of fuel it saves. Especially running race fuel it’s a definite plus. Well worth the money!

This post convinced me to get one instead of the pwk on my cr139. Improved mileage on race gas will pay itself off!

I have about 1 hour on my Lectron and fresh Tom Morgan YZ295. The Lectron is one of the best mods I have done to the beast. Crisp, smooth and it really does save a considerable amount on fuel.

Hi! I have 2008 RM125, cylinder blew up couple of days ago and I'm thinking about to perform big bore too! But as a newbie I don't know what additional mods are needed to do this right. Did you also tuned the cylinder head and power valves to fit big piston?

Heres my RM125 Smile

Thanks in advance!

I've got an EG 144 mod on my 'o3 RM125 and love it. What is the 155? Is it just a bigger bore or a stroker crank as well?

It's actually a 144 bore with a stroker kit, which makes it equivalent to a 155. Probably a pretty poor explanation. I'm sure somebody here can explain it better....

I've been wondering if anybody does a stroker kit for the RM125. So you got your stroker cranks from Eric Gore as well? I'd love to know how that compares to just the 144 like mine. I really like my bike, a touch more torque certainly wouldn't hurt it though.
Here's my RM144.

Eric Gorr does the whole conversion. My buddy has an '07 144. I feel like it pulls slightly better than my 155, but our gearing is a bit different, and he has V Force reeds, I don't. That could make a difference.

Hmm, well gearing may have something to do with it, but it probably also depends on the porting done to each of your cylinders. I was told mine was the "low-mid" porting. Maybe your buddy's is ported for better low-end performance?

I might have to email Eric Gore and see if anything else can be done to my bike to make the engine more "KTM 200-ish" (my favorite motor of all time).

I also wonder if a Lectron Carb properly set up would make a difference?

Good point. If I recall, EG offers 3 different power packages which you somewhat described. Good luck!
