Sweet find! What are your plans for it? Why is the frame partly yellow?

i have no idea :D .. i think the frame was yellow and someone put the grey paint over it ..

my plan is to build a nice factory looking RM like my RMZ 250 with lots of nice parts and colors Smile

I had a 2003 RM 125 with a Eric Gorr 144 kit on it. Bike ripped! I really regret selling it. Solid bike that went anywhere you wanted it to on the track with little effort. Really awesome bike. Good luck with your build! Look forward to watching it

Here was my bike

Hey guys Smile

a little update .. this black plastic parts are from the 2015 rmz 250 and fits on the RM . and the chain guide is from my old RMZ
i like the black plastic parts

I'm pretty sure the only piece thay won't fit is the front brake line guide that mounts on the bottom triple clamp. I tried ordering one and its a diff design the rm front brake line guard.

That's cool rear caliper guard and rear disc guard are the same. Black plastic almost looks like carbon fiber for fraction of the price

Are you going to use aftermarket triple clamps or the stock ones? If you're going with stock it would be a good idea to remove the casting flaws. I just recently did that on my RMZ rebuild and it looks really good.

Hey Boys Smile

is started to assembling the bike .

Put the Fork together ( also swingarm and linkage )

Put it in the Bike and cut the rear numberplates .. but it was a little bit too much .. luckily i have some new white plates Smile

But i think its a nice looking bike Cool
some parts are still missing like the front brake cover , Boyesen Clutch and Ignition Cover, new Grips and of course the Decal Smile .. the front fork guards will be black and the rear number plates white

Hey Guys ,

i have a Problem with my front brake . I use the MotoMaster Disc , RSi Pads , Motul RBF 660 and Steel Hose
but my front brake is almost spongy and weak :/

i found some dudes that use Honda CRF Master Cylinder and Brake Caliper . do you know something about that ?

with best regards

A 2007 and up crf master cylnder is supposed to be a good upgrade. I've never done it personally.

Also, you could buy a ride engineering billit front brake caliper. Bigger caliper pistons for improved braking power and modulation. On their site it says it only fits rmz models, however it fill fit on rm 2 strokes. I think it's just because they haven't tried to fit in on an rm 2 stroke.

2001 -2007 rm 125 and 2001 - 2008 rm 250 use the identical oem caliper adaptor bracket part # as 2007-2017 rmz 250 and 2005 - 2017 rmz 450. Also rm 2 strokes have an 11 mm front master cylnder piston. Which is another requirement to run the caliper.

I'm sure both of these units will solve your braking issues.

(This is based on the assumption that your correctly bled your brakes and the caliper pistons don't need to be rebuilt)

Good luck!

I have an 06 250 and had a 02 125. The 250 always had spongy brakes no matter what fluid and how much bleeding. I finally put a master cylinder from an 02 on the 250 and the brakes are 100 percent better. It was $25 well spent. The banjo bolt on the good master is in the back...if that helps.

Hey mwssquad827 ,

The rims are standart Excel yellow ... the fork is acid Yellow anodised , looks similar to the Showa A Kit :D

Now i found a fresh rebuild Caliper and a Honda 2010 Master cylinder
I hope this improves my brake :/
