Outer Tubes on my 13 RMZ

Just took my forks apart to refresh with seals and wear parts. I have been changing oil but haven't changed the wear bands and I let them go way to long. My outer tubes have dark wear marks inside them..Some of which I can feel with my finger...My question is how much wear can these tubes take before their junk and can they be recoated and used again or should I just use them like they are without much loss in function......I really don't want to spend the money on new tubes if I can get by with these ....Thanks ...

Got any pics? Does the manual give you a wear limit? are they worn over a large flat area? like a contact area of a piston slider or just a few scores?

How did they wear? Did they run out of oil?

There's some pictures floating around on here of those bikes with bent/cracked tubes. Might be worth replacing if they are wearing funny.
