New Starcross tires?

Anyone using the new Starcross tires?
I moved to a new part of the county, most of our tracks are hard packed, some have decent dirt, and I'm also now doing hare scrambles so I encounter the odd rocky, rooty trail.
I'm looking at getting the new mediums, apparently these new tires are great.

I currently have an MX32 front and MX51 rear, I love this set up for most of my riding, however the knobs are being ripped right off, I can see tire carcass when I pull on some of the knobs now... Which is unfortunate because that front still had lots of life left in it.

I have been running them since the first of the year. . I run the soft . The wear excellent and hook up great . I ran the Mx 32 prior and they hook up great but wear like they are free and I would rip knobs off . I will try the mid next. Since its summer and the tracks are getting more hard packed

I have an hour on medium compound. From what I could tell they hooked up great. Better in my opinion than the mx52. I can't speak on the wear since what I was riding was just basically field sections with ruts.

Edit: side note, they were really pumping up how easy they were to mount and I have to agree. Super easy

I just gave them a try this weekend, great tires! I mounted them using no soapy water or anything like that just as a test and they still went on easy, so they are definately significantly easier to put on than the Dunlop. I've been running their enduro tire for years on the front and the starcross is basically the same tread design with a different compound, so I was happy with it.

Overall, I would definately recommend them.

I know not what you are a asking about but we have been testing the new Golden Tyres out. So far both my boys absolutely love the hook up and they last quite well. If you get a chance check them out. (No affiliation with the company a local shop just started carrying them)...............

I have 2 rides on the medium set. Work great. Front made a big difference.agree on mounting, easiest set I have done. Spoons and a bucket. Just missed the x brand goggle deal. Now you get a pair with a set.
