Hey Everybody,

We became sponsors/advertisers back in April. Since that time I have been posting here and there. I've gotten to know some of you and hopefully helped others. Many of you are using our products. Some of you have never heard of us. Others are very familiar with what we do.

Thanks for letting me become a part of the "community". Ask me anything, I will never intentionally steer you wrong.

I have included a link to an article done by MotoAmerica. I encourage you to read it. Get to know us. We are here because of you. We live and love this industry.

Thanks for the post! I'm just curious, do you have replated cylinders in stock for exchange? Is Eric Gorr the owner? Is that you who initiated this thread?

Yes, we keep re-plated cylinders in stock. More than 2500 on the shelf as we speak. Please call and check for availability for your bike.

No. Eric Gore is not the owner. Eric was an employee when we purchased Forward Motion. He has moved on the other things.

Thanks!

I need a CR500 steel sleeve removed and replaced with one made of aluminum, I then need the whole assy ported (aluminum sleeve matched to casting during this), and the plated. What will this cost me?

Sorry for the delay. Do you want to keep your CR500 standard bore?

Can you give me some advice as I am a new four stroke owner? I have used you guys before and it was amazing work.

When rebuilding the top end correctly (new piston, rings, bored jug to match, valves. head etc. ) everything necessary to do the job correctly. What does this cost, and what must be sent to you? Thank you in advance and sorry for the noob question .

Thanks!!! We have Tom Morgan in house (Ex-Factory Kawasaki) and we also work with Kevin Hunt at KWS Motorsports and Ron Hamp at RHC to develop ports. This stuff is not just about removing metal and making things shiney. All of our 4-stroke head ports are fully developed on the flow bench, dyno, and track.

Not a noob question at all...and frankly not an easy question to answer. Different models need different things at different levels of use and abuse. If you get me your year/make/model I can give you specific prices. You can send me an email and I can have an estimate started.

For a basic top end, I would recommend the following:

Cylinder Service - This would be simple strip, bore, and plate to match piston if no damage - $209.95.

We would send the cylinder back with the following:
Piston (rings, clips, pin) Price depends on Year/Make/Model and piston brand and spec.
Gasket Kit - Price depends on Year/Make/Model.

Cylinder Head CNC Valve Job - $149.95 (Assembled)

Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_rRE9XmzVxc

If you would like us to assemble the head then you would need to send the following OEM parts or we can provide after market alternatives from Xceldyne:
Valves - Price depends on Year/Make/Mode
Springs - Price depends on Year/Make/Mode
Cotters - Price depends on Year/Make/Mode
Retainers - Price depends on Year/Make/Mode

OEM Parts required that we would not provide:
Coolant
Oil
Oil Filter
Cam Chain (Maybe)
Spring Bases (Maybe)
Clutch (Maybe)
Clean Injectors (Maybe)

Thank you for taking the time to answer my questions. I watched the video on CNC valve jobs and it makes much more sense to me. It is a 2007 kx 450. It will probably need a new cam chain (oem) and spring bases but as for the other stuff I can handle. I would also probably have you guys assemble the head with oem stuff as well, because I dont trust myself with this. As for the piston I would end up probably using a wiseco. Fairly new to this site and don't know how to find your email

How reliable? 100% honest, it depends on your pace and tuning. If you are wicked fast and never jet/fuel the thing correctly, it won't last long. If you are old and slow like me and your jetting/fuel is on point, its as reliable as stock.

Yes, replacement pistons and complete parts kits are available and in stock.

Yes, porting and fuel options are available.

Thanks for thinking of us.

These guys are simply the BEST in the business. We have used their services since 1998 and they have done work on our bikes since my 50cc days to the bikes I ride now in Supercross. We are proud to show their logo on the bikes. They are the only ones who get space on the front number plate. After showing the local shop around here their work on my bikes, they now use them for their customers as well. Yep, they are that good. Thank you guys for being with us for all these years. We are very happy customers.

Eric and Forward Motion became part of the Millennium 3 years ago. Eric has left to do some other things and we have hired Tom Morgan as technical director. We still offer the complete Forward Motion product line with the same amazing customer service.

Tom is one of the best builder/tuners in the world with 5 AMA National MX championships and 5 AMA Mechanic of the year awards.

Standard bore? A standard Nickel Silicone Carbide Plating services would be $209.95. Porting pricing would depend on the application. Clean up the ports or a full performance port package?

If you want the really cool stuff, we offer a complete 144cc kit price with bore, plate, porting, head mods, power valve service, piston, and gaskets for $513.70

I have an interesting scenario with an 03 Honda cr 125 I picked up. I have rebuilt the entire motor (OEM crank etc), I have a 134cc cylinder with existing port work and a brand new cylinder head from Honda.

Could I send you the cylinder and cylinder head and have you determine what needs to be done? By that, I mean cut the head to fit the 134cc properly and at least look at the cylinder to try and determine if the existing port work is ok or junk? Thank you.

What's the price of porting for simple clean up job? Clean up job runs on 91 octane?

Whata the price of the Performance package run well on 100 octane and maintain good durability? Or does durability go kit the window?

I would have to be ship the cylnder from Ontario Canada. Do you provide forms to help with the shipping? Across the border shipping is a pain... lol

The head modifications will be $75. The cylinder may be simple to evaluate but if it requires more detailed measurements we would charge $35 or so.

Thanks!
