whatsup, you guys reckon these are decent? I cannot afford a proper knee brace at the moment so will the Leatt knee guard dual axis suffice? Or is like Thor Force knee guards better or something else? Thanks

They will not support your knee from ligament tears and stretching. They are more for roost and impact protection. A knee brace is cheap when you consider the cost of knee surgery, rehab and lost time at work and on the bike. If you have medical insurance talk to an orthopedic / sports medicine professional and see what they recommend for knee support it could be a simple as showing you how to tape your knees to support them to a set of knee braces. It all depends on the condition of your knees.

I have some really torn up knees and use a set of $3000 DonJoy Armor Action braces I use them when I am riding moto, skiing , snowboard and golf. The support is great do not feel real intrusive once you get use to them. The only down side is they tear up the insides of my riding pants as well as the graphics on the shrouds of the bike. They cost myself $200 through my medical insurance.

The most important thing about even over the counter braces like the EVS and Asterisk is you should still have a professional Size, fit, set the stops and show you how to properly use them as a poor fitting brace and misinstalled braces can cause injury or knee pain.

I will buy a knee brace in the future when i have more cash. But for now I will just use a crappy knee guard, i am fine with that. But thanks, i actually learnt something from that^

NO problem if you can find a copy of "Total Taping for Motocross" by Jeff Spencer look at the section of taping your knees for extra support. It will help give you extra support until you get to be able to get some knee braces.
