My silver rims and spokes are looking a little worse for the wear. Thus far, all I've done is hit them with Windex, but that's really not effective any more. Since its raining (again) this weekend, I need something to tinker on. What's a good way to get these things to gleam again?

When i used to ride I had good results with wd40 on a cloth and then some elbow grease.

If they're smooth but if they're rough cast you should use this....

Just be sure to not coat everything in sight with it and have the water hose close by.

Thanks reded. My hubs look like crap, also. I guess I'll head to the auto parts store after work.

Steel wool and polish bro. Works really good on the spokes. I like Wenol metal polish, Blue Magic is good too.

Make sure you get the Eagle 1 that's for cast wheels and get a toothbrush to work it into all of the pores. Rinse and dry each part as soon as you're done scrubbing. Depending on how dirty your hubs are it may take a couple tries to get the desired result.
