Looking for an hour meter for a late model yz125. Basically just wondering what everyone else is running, best place to mount etc.

Look on eBay. You can get one for $7.50 shipped. From the US. I have been using these on my bikes and they work great. I have even timed them and they are very accurate. Easy to install.

Just go to walmart or lows and get some industrial strength velcro and you can mount it anywhere. I mounted mine on the frame right behind the radiator shroud

GET Wireless. It's a little pricey but takes 1 minute to install.

Pro taper, Get. make the wirless ones, i use wc mounted on tank bolt with the adaptor, also check trail tek, wc and trail tek, great products. I ve heard the wireless ones active if ya hit a bump while loaded in ur truck. Unless the problem has been fixed.

I run a trail tech tto on my bikes. Its a basic Hour meter, plus tach. very reliable, no issue in 2 years on 3 bikes. On My YZf and KX I made a mount out of sheet metal for it that uses the top tank bolt. I ran pemserts into it and locktighted that badboy in. On my rm i bought some adhesive backed, velcro and stuck it to the frame near the head tube. Much less time, and works just as good.

I use w/c's on both my bikes. I use their mounting kit and its a meter/ tach.

rm/ 2 strokes bolt right up to the front plate bolt
rmz bolts right up to the tank bolt in front

Great product, excellent customer service.

I 2nd the GET Meter.

I've had one on my KTM for almost 2 years. Not problems, and not its not activated in the truck.
