I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the Easton EXP bars. Any opinions, good or bad? I am looking at getting some new bars soon and I am leaning toward the Easton bars, but I haven't heard anyone say much about them lately.

Thanks!

I have one ride on mine so far....probably not enough to have a huge opinion yet, but so far I really like them. Ive ridden standard 7/8, 1 1/8 without crossbar, and now these. You cant really feel the additional flex until you ride a bike with rigid crossbar handlebars. My bar mounts have a 5mm offset, but the stock mounts did as well. The overall quality of everything seems pretty nice.

Thanks! I think I am going to give them a try and see what they are like.

No problem. If you have a Cycle Gear near you and want to take a look at them, they stock the Easton stuff. The bars come with two zip ties for the pad (they dont have velcro like normal barpad covers), but I havent needed them. What I may do is attach some velcro to the bottom just in case.

I am not sure if they still do but Easton used to make Pro Taper's bars.

Well, I ordered my Easton EXP bars. They came in a couple of days ago, but I haven't installed them yet. I will say that they look pretty nice and the quality looks very good. I got a good deal since they are throwing in the mounts and hardware for free right now. I will let everyone know what I think once I have had a chance to ride with them.

Thanks again for the info!
