Looking good man, I like the wheel combo. Did you just polish your hubs and powdercoat the rims?

Swap the suspension out with showa twin chambers. Honda did some diff stuff with the shock. Here is a guide for which shocks are the same length.

I started with a file to get the casting lines out then started with 80 grit to 100, 150, then finished with 250 and steel wool pad

Great job on those wheels! Hella fresh rebuild.

I swapped an 04 crf front end over to my 03 cr125. Fit perfectly. Supposedly the brake caliper mount is different. If you need to use the cr brake, you have to use the crf caliper mount. I went ahead and swapped the entire crf front brake over anyway so I did not run into that problem.

I really like the twin chambers after I rebuilt them. I have heard the kyb shock is actually pretty good in our cr125's. I am happy with mine so far. (yes, brake line goes inside the fork leg....)

The brake line should be on the inside of your fork.

Sorry for the thread jack op, i did look for a private message function but Couldn't find it, bike looks sweet btw, liking those hubs a lot.

@ Martin517, i have an 03 125 also, from looking at the info you posted, the 04crf 250 and 05-07 crf450 are all interchangeable in length, but do you know if there's any fitment issues, canister to frame, clevis etc, i've also noticed the adjuster and canister look higher than the eye hole on the shock body unlike the 125, any issues with fitment here ?

Do you know of anybody using one of these shocks on an 03/04 cr125, and if so, which bike it came from exactly ?

Thanks in advance for any help.
