Curious as well. Just picked up a 7oz for my '14 yz250. Hopefully it's a nice happy medium, I don't want to take away too much...

Well I've only owned one bike with a FWW. It was an 06 RM 250 that had an 11OZ on it the day I got it. I loved the bike. It still felt like it had tons of snap but had a lot of traction.

I read online a bunch about the YZ and ended up going with an 11oz. Hopefully it's not too much. I got a SUPER good deal on it, so I want to run the bike stock for a bit, put on the 11 and see. If I don't like it I will sell it and probably grab a 9oz.
Got to test out my 7oz today. It was perfect, just barely took the edge off like I was looking for. I can see a bigger one being nice for hard pack and slick conditions but I think this one suits me perfect. Let us know how that 11oz works!

The tracks in VA get very hard packed, so that's why I looked at the 11. I'm nervous now that I should have gotten a 9!

I picked up a very low hour (stock sprockets, brake pads, plastics, top end, etc.) 06 YZ 250. I'm in the process of framing it now, to build it back up.

It will be a 2016 conversion bike with miscenanious add on's/ mods (pipe, silencer, wheels, etc). The goal is to make it look like a former Yamaha team bike, if the team started again in 2016... Stay tuned.

It might have already been asked .. But if you don't mind me asking.. About how much did you pay for that thing? It's clean.

I picked it up for $2,000, which I think is a pretty good deal.

My inner kid went "ooooooo!!!! T-maxx!!" Haha

Bike looks great. A lot of guys tell me all the time that I'll hate my DNA wheels, but I haven't had any problems with them. I love em!

Looking good! I seen the dragon graphics and thought I'd share my bike. I was a huge fan of the Yamaha Of Troy bikes as a kid. Growing up 45 minutes from the YOT race shop was awesome. Anyways I did pretty much the same thing to my 2011 YZ 250. I wanted to make it look like a brand new factory YOT bike

The carby hose looks sweet when it is new, where did you get it from?

It's OEM Honda stuff. I'll find the part number and send it to you. I get 20 feet for like 10 bucks online.

The last pic shows it with the black fork guards and new fork guard graphics... I like it much better like that.

Sorry for the lack of pics... Someone was giving me a bunch of crap about the Troy logo being trademarked and stuff... So I let the thread die. Well, my graphic dude folded up shop so I figure who cares now lol.

If YOT doesn't like the free advertisement then they should go kick rocks. You're bike looks great! How is the flywheel weight working out?

Thank you man.

The flywheel weight is awesome. It's 11oz. I added the VForce Reed valve system and the flywheel weight at the same time. I feel that the power stayed the same, but traction increased. I know that flywheel weights decrease the "hit" but I still feel my bike has plenty of it... I actually noticed the weight far less than expected.

I also had Shane at PR2 Racing valve/ spring the bike... It is amazing now, and I couldn't be happier.
