Hey guys, my friend's CR 125 is a lagging on the acceleration and the powerband isn't kicking that much since the rebuild. I checked the jets and he's running 430 main and 30 pilot I believe. I was thinking the jets are kinda messed up and he needs to put the stock sizes back in since there aren't any aftermarket parts installed.

If the bike had ran good with the present jetting before the rebuild, then it could be another area that needs attention. Is the power valve system timed correctly and thoroughly clean? Piston to bore clearance in spec ? Air filter clean , not over oiled, and in good condition ? Silencer properly packed ? Igniton timing set correctly after the rebuild (dial indicator) ?

It's the details that make the difference , not just replacing worn parts.

I was also thinking the power valve system so I'll have to check that when I get home. I'll post what I find out, thanks!
