So I bought a 16' KTM 250SX about 3 months ago and just have not been that stoked on it. I don't feel confident on it, forks suck in my opinion (though they got better after a revalve), and I just get beat up too much riding MX.
I still have my old CR250 that I figure I will keep for a beater 2 stroke, but I feel its time I hop on the 4 stroke wagon.. I rode an 11 or 12 kx250f after jumping off my CR and was just amazed at how much more comfortable I felt...
A 250f I feel like I will be able to work on becoming a better rider a little easier than if I just had a 450, plus my dealer was talking about throwing me a killer deal on the Kawi.. I was tossed up between that or a Yamaha, but I figured I would see what the opinion is..
Thanks

I have never had a cherry bike, other than my KTM, but I just don't feel solid on it at ALL and I am just pretty bummed out. Really want to get on something I feel confident with
Sucks not having that feeling... Like when I rode that 11' KX 250f I instantly wanted one and felt at home on it. And it wasn't even fresh!
The Shop
I had a low hour 11 kx 250f
and bought a new 2013 kx250f (same as a 16)
the 13 handled better and made a little more power
keep the stock pipe
remove the back fire screen and have it remapped to whatever fuel you run
made mine a reliable rocketship^ 53 hours before it needed rebuilt
cant go wrong with green or blue on the 250fs, rmz if you value cornering over everything else. it was amazing.
