I had this Pro Taper countershaft sprocket in my parts bin, totally forgot about it! Threw it on the 125 this morning.

Really cleans up the drivetrain.

I really like the look of the new WP logos and I feel like Factory Connections decals are very outdated. I mixed the 2 together to give it the more updated look but still shout out FC who's been helping me out the last few years. We also updated the dust seal covers to the new red colorway.

The chain might wear excessively being that it has been used already and there is an new sprocket. Looks awesome so far.

Got the Lectron in and tuned to ride this week. I'll give a report once I ride it. I have to get a spark arrestor...

I have to get a spark arrestor to ride Gorman OHV track this week. I'll try it back to back with the shorty to see if there's any difference. The bike came with 3 silencers and 2 pipes, so I have a little arsenal over hereWhistling

I have Ti raptor pegs on the 250f and want something simaler but didn't want to spend that kind of money. I sent the stock pegs out to MetalTek in Lake elsinor CA for a little mod!Evil

Can you get me the hose specs for the Lectroncarb?

Michael, the 125/150 come stock with a non-colored progressive power valve spring and you don't get any optional springs in the tool kit like the 250/300. I purchased a red, blue & yellow spring to test on my SX 150.

I have settled on the blue spring 2.5 turns in from all the way out. Huge improvement over the stock spring, this is also with JD kit and Bud Racing carbon muffler. That being said Joe this is on a SX 150 which runs alot different than the SX 125. The 125 seems to run very well with the stock PV spring. If I had a 125 I would try the red and blue spring to see if it picks up quicker off the bottom with possibly more mid hit. They are easy to change at the track, takes about 2 minutes.
If the snow holds off I will be trying a smaller volume head in a few weeks with VP110/91 pump gas.

I've had some fun days back on the bike. Trying to ease into things with my shoulder. Been doing lots of testing on powervalve and suspension settings. I repacked my shorty and going to retune the Lectron. I think I was chasing some issues that weren't really there. Going to crank on my work during the week and hope to ride both day this weekend.
Here's a few pics from Milestone the other day.

Sick setup!

The full orange KTM with black Fasthouse gear and a black Bell helmet looks incredible!

The whole engine package with the FMF exhaust works great. I have the longer header like the KTM team uses and it helps with the bottom end. I'm 100% happy with it. It pulls off the bottom better than the Yamaha and screams until about 14,000 rpm. Can't ask for anything more than that from a 250f.

I've heard really good things about the Yosh full exhaust for KTM. I talked to a guy from Yosh and he said there's powers gains without even remaking the bike. The build the exhaust around an entire stock bike, engine and ecu.

Really like the 16/17 shape ktms. I ride a 16' Yz450f but i rode a friends stock 16 250sxf. Pretty quick for a 250 . Its tempting to buy one and do some motor work to it, it would be unreal to ride. Pretty crazy that they can create close to 50hp with some mods.

Any reason why you didn't go with different cams? Also did u beef up the tranny for the extra hp? Seems clutch would slip more with softer springs that they now put in them

So I believe all the KTM guys are running stock cam size. Jamie at Twisted Development does tons of work for race teams including Dakota Alix who we've seen pull many holeshots last year. This engine is pretty close to what he runs in SX besides all the crazy coated bearings.

We got a new clutch from Hinson that is based off the 450 clutch and actually has little rubber cush bumpers. It takes some of the hit out when the rear tire leaves the ground and catches really fast like in whoops or chop for example. Twisted replaced my 2nd and 4th gear I believe at 75hours to be safe and they also did ISF polishing process on it!

The Fasthouse stuff is awesome, I've been wearing the jerseys for a few years now. The pants are really stretchy. Hard to go back to the standard pants after you wear the stretch. Sizing Is a hair on the small side, but I still wear M jersey and 32 pants.

Here's a few photos from inside the clutch. I have a full video of the Hinson guys putting it together. I'll lay out a quick video one day and post it up.

I don't know if there's anything specifically wrong with those gears. I think for some reason those are the ones that broke most often with the supercross kids. While my bottom end was getting rebuilt I told Twisted to just replace anything that that has potential to ruin the engine. Once they were in there it was fairly cheap ya know.

They lightened up the gears and they are too weak when landing jumps wide open. They recalled the clutch springs and put lighter springs in it so the clutch would slip a little instead of breaking the gears

Yeah , my way of thinking too :-). I'm thinking to send my engine to TZR to check it since I'm not going to ride next six months.Did they found any unusual wear inside the engine(piston, cylinder, gearbox),I'm asking because friend of mine told me that they can easily go for 100 hours!?Go wonder!,,
