yz125 1998-1999 difference

Hi, can anyone tell me the visual differences in a 1998 and 1999 yz125,
does the 1999 have silver radiators?
Im after one to restore but im told the 99's are better,
any help appreciated

The 99 got different rear hub with the same sprocket as the current models. The cylinder and exhaust was changed with different connection. Otherwise the differences are small. I know that 98 had black radiators, don't know about 99.

I have a low hour 97 and I don't feel very big difference between that and the 02-04 in terms of performance and suspension.

Do you know what the gear ratios for each gear are on the 97? I have a 96 and they changed the rear sprocket from a 50 to a 48 in 97.
