1. Determine your level of commitment.
2. Determine the thickness of your wallet.
3. Determine the level of understanding by your next of kin......Wink
4. Check your wallet one more time.

Sit on it and get someone to push you around the yard while making motorcycle noises.

This is a good subject: Have you ever bought and started with one obscure part, and built a bike around it?

1979 was a 23" claw action up front if I recall. If the tire is usable, at least you can sell one part!

Looks to be a CR 125 tank with no major damage. That's worth something. Striping off the green and spraying it with a coat of primer would double the value.

so friends, what to do?
definitely not a mountain bike. would go down, yes, but I'm too lazy to push the thing up.

my last project started like this:

ready after 2 years:

I am currently building a 1979 CR 125. not original just for driving. There will soon be an extra thread.

I will disassemble and store this green monster. At some point I build the 100% original with 23 "front wheel.

but first I'll pick up a 1980s CR250 tomorrow.

Woohoo

This one started with less than what you have up above. Rougher looking as well. Nothing that 100 hours and $6000.00 won't fix!Wink
