Last Bultaco rider to win a National in '74. Forgot where. Wanna say Red Bud; somewhere around there.

Has a couple brothers David and Jon that raced a lot some years back; think they still race on occasion.

It's Zahrt.....Smile

Ask Old Slow. He's pretty knowledgable on whereabouts of lot of ol' schoolers as well as Bobby is.

My sister used to see Kenny around and let me know how every one was doing. just haven’t seen him around in awhile thanks.

Last time I talked to him he was doing ok considering he walks like anold man, of course he is. he had one of his ankles fused together and said that is why he walks funny. Las time I had talked to him about it, he still had a set of factory Bultaco forks. That guy taught me more about bike setup and what all those funny knobs do more then anyone. Kenny always had a beer in one hand and a girl on the other. At one time he was living with 2 girls and niether knew about the other.

John broke his leg or ankle riding one of my bikes in 84 while I was at Indian Dunes practicing one day. He asked me if he could try my bike I said sure and he wadded it on a wooped out straight in the sand and that was it.

I havn't seen him in a year or so now but he had or has a shop out here in Canyon Country he was doing all my engine and suspension work. I bump into to Johnny and Dave from time to time at the races. Kenny had a trick set up on his bike he couldn't hit the back brake with his foot so he rigged the rear brake where the front usually goes and had 2 levers on the left side one clutch one front brake and still took me to school.

Uptite in reading your posts I can tell we must have rode a lot together. Ya I know Kenny got hurt bad could hardly walk and moded his bike. Who was that one girl Kenny had early 80s small girl short hair. Funny she always had a beer also.
John man has any one been hurt as much as him. I rember one time it was raining and he called me to go riding at a track behind his house it was so slippery you could hardly ride and he would huk this road jump just all side ways out of control I would just laugh. Good times
John was the one who taught me to take people out he said you want to race pro then ram them.

I hear MXA is doing or has done a story about his career. Might not have come out yet.

The story was done earlier this year in MXA. I'm sure I still have the issue.

we went to school with him, he made a springer front end for my bycycle out of some strap metal and a bed spring

funny, my brother and I were just talking about him yesterday

Check out the latest issue of Cycle News. There's a good picture of him taken at the A Day in the Dirt a couple of weeks ago.

Have some good pics stashed somewhere of Kenny and Greg Roberston on the Mid Valley Ossa's at Argyll at whatever they used to call the big Labor day weekend race there.
