Hey guys, with so many pullers to choose from, I need some help identifying what size(mm) type of puller I need to buy to remove the rotor off of my YZ100.
here's a pic of a similar YZ rotor.

Larry, looks similar to one I had made for a 74 YZ125. I asked my local machinist buddy to help get the flywheel off and he cut a big ass bolt down (lt. hand coarse thread??), and drilled/tapped the center for another one to push it off.

I may or may not be able to find it if you need it...let me know.

Do you have access to a caliper and a thread pitch gauge from a metric tap and die set?

18mm x 1.5 pitch right hand thread. Need it? Send me an address and I’ll shoot it your way. Send it back when done.

It just so happened I had to pull my YZ100 apart the other day, connecting rod bearing went out.
I had bought a puller kit some years back, it has a variety pullers and bolts. One of the bolts was the correct thread. I just drilled the center out large enough to fit over the crank shaft and started tightening. It popped right off. Unlike my YZ465. The pictures show the size and pitch of the bolt.

Most YZ's of that era came with a puller in the tool kit. Just a hollow centered bolt. Still have a few somewhere.
