does any one have or know where i can find a water pump shaft for the cr125 1983,i had a accident and knocked mine off the bench whilst doing a rebuild and it has cracked the plastic gear

I know the parts has been discontinued, but here is the part number if it helps: 19240-KA3-710

Not too sure if dealers in the UK or USA can punch that number into a database to see if other dealers have it in stock or not.

I found the complete shaft with gears from an '84 out of japan of yahoo auctions - there's a few OEM exhausts with ATAC chambers and OEM bodywork for mid 80's CR's on there saw some nice gas tanks.

I tried them a couple months ago with no luck. Ive been searchimg for this part for over 3 years and had only ever seen 1 and they wanted a rediculous amount of money for it

OK I'll ask my man, he just parted an '83 CR250. I got the complete front end for the 43mm forks / wheel / brake / clamps and the rear shock for the adj. res. The rest of the bike is complete except for the top end. Was race bike that only had a few seasons in it then was stored. Send me a PM with your contact info, I'll hook you up.

Oops, yours is 125, would the 250 one work ??
He may have 125 cases.

Part looks to be one of a kind based on part# and I think it might be plastic on the gear? in just looking at the schematic of an 84 it is pretty clear they are not the same and it was definitely metal.

Might be worth at least emailing this guy to ask - does not have one listed but he has most of the rest of the motor on there:

Finally - never hurts to post a "wanted" request on Marks Vintage MX if you have not done so. Also ask if anyone knows for sure if a different year will work.

3 years is a long time! Hope the hunts ends soon.

i ended up going to a guy who makes parts for british superbike teams and he made me one cost £80 but got me up and running and has been fine went on to finish 4th in this years over45 pre83 125 championship
