I came across these tanks on ebay and I'm scratching my head on the price...$2600? Our friend Holly sells a very similar looking tank for under $1K, and the guy selling these in Australia does not answer emails on eBay....makes you wonder....I paid way less for an actual works tank a couple of years ago...

I think I'm going to look up Holly Equp if I need one...

I wonder if the Aussie tank is more durable than the paper thin works tank or the Holly? I remember Stevie Denton mentioning something about them being pretty fragile. Regardless, good looking work!!!
I can see from the pics that this tank (while very good!) isn't remotely close to Holly's.
It looks to be "just" a 1980 tank but in alloy. Holly's are exact replica's of the RC tanks, which are much slimmer and very different shape to the 1980 tanks.
Holly has replicated the RC tanks exactly, the same gauge of alloy, everything. Compared to the stock 78-79 tanks they are a little more prone to getting dinged, but they are, exactly, "right". It's how the RC tanks were and it's how Holly's are. Id buy another tomorrow if i could!

Edit, not sure why how I managed to quote you Newmann?
The Shop
It even came with the magnesium petcock. Was $900.00 delivered to my door with about 88 coats of paint and primer on it that needed to be stripped.
