Found a local ad last night that caught my interest. Been looking around for some bikes to restore and ride.

An '82 & '83, both down to the frame but he claims to have most of the parts for both (minus exhaust, misc plastics, & coils.

One motor is together and spins and shifts. The other motor disassembled for an oil repair that never got put back together but has new parts to do so.

Claims frames need some minor welded but not "sprung"?

He is asking $400 and seems pretty firm. I would want to put these back to mostly original and just play ride.

I've got an old XR200 that is a blast to ride grass track & single track. I'd love to have a 350.

I'd want to do a compression test on the assembled
motor.

The XR 350’s are great bikes. Here is a pic of one I put together a few years ago. I used an All Balls bearing conversion kit and installed a 2001 CR250 front end.

The early 350s were a bit problematic (as running hot). The 85 model went to a dry sump engine and was a better bike. Parts are hard to come by.
