This is our British championship from 1985 at a place called Howe Hills. I doubt they'd ever graded this track. It was rough as f*** before practice even started Many tracks were like this back in the day. Line choice was a key skill back then. As in finding the smoothest line and actually getting some power down.

Mark Banks, straight out of schoolboys was giving Thorpe fits. 500 world champ? So what!

You can hear that RC500 too!

To put this in perspective, Mark Banks is the equivalent of Jett Lawrence last year in his first Outdoor National..

When I was a kid and I saw a mx race, I got home and wanted to ride. I got that feeling again watching that video. That's moto to me. Ashame it's not like that any longer. Track reminds me of old Unadilla
