Vintage MX race this Sat July 12th

Make sure if you are from the Midwest to not miss the VMX race this coming Sat July 12th at CMJ Raceway in Hixton WI. An excellent facility for old school mx. I will be there racing my not so trusty 1980 YZ125 and shooting photos and doing story for Cycle USA.

I can't seem to get my bike to "clean out" I pissed with it for about an hour after work tonight. The jets are all clean, just doesn't run good on top. Oh well for a 28 year old bike at least it still starts. haha

Tomorrow I'm putting some Bob Hannah lightening bolt stickers on it. I bet that will make it "clean out"

I had a good time, my buddy won 2-class's on his 1972 Suzuki TM 250 and 1979 Honda CR250. I hope to be healed enoought next season to break out the my Husky. My LOP jersey was a big hit!

If the jets are clean look at the reeds (if it uses reeds).

That was me on the old YZ's and the second moto on the 1981 YZ60.

It definately was a great time. I had a blast looking at all the old bikes.

I will throw up some photos when I get a chance.

Come to find out after scrubbing on my 1980 YZ125 this past week, I actually have a LOP silencer on the bike that I didn't know I had. haha

This bike, in my opinion was a work of art. What is even better, its muddy! Riding the Midwest VMX this weekend was awesome.

This is my unrestored bone stock Yamaha YZ60. I raced it in the second moto and had a blast. This thing rips for a six speed 60cc bike. The cool thing is I can't wait until my son is old enough to handle it and then smoke current kids on their CRF150's with it. haha

Digger- I like the pictures. Do you or anyone have the name/e-mail or phone # of the guy taking pictures at the race. He was handing out cards,but mine went thru the washing machine. My buddy wanted to check out his pictures he took during the race. THANKS MX-Frog
