Getting the word out here boys.
There will be two 125cc promoter classes added to the 2018 Thor Rewind program. A 1980’s 125cc class for all 125cc bikes up to and including 1989 and a 1990’s 125cc class for all 125cc bikes up to and including 1999.
Obviously the promoter classes pick up the bikes AHRMA does not cover (mid-1980’s – 1999 or so). Adding 125cc promoter classes help in many ways - (1) provide an opportunity to ride the non-AHRMA bikes we consider vintage (2) provide an additional class for AHRMA 125 bikes (3) help manage the current full Pre-Millenium and Retro class gates, (4) provide a competitive solution for 125’s on this big (sometimes muddy) track, (5) give us a fun class !
The Retro (disc/drum) and Pre-Millenium (disc/disc) promoter classes will remain for the 250cc and open class bikes. I believe these classes may convert to the same decade class structure (80’s & 90’s) rather than disc/drum. AHRMA already has a disc/drum class.
The 2018 Unadilla Thor Rewind event is June 1-3. Get a 125 winter project and join the fun.

I love what you guys are doing at Unadilla. I think it's the perfect class break up and people are going to really enjoy it. Now I just need to figure out a way to get my 88 Cagiva to New York next year!

The promoters at Unadilla are adding these two 125cc classes to their 2018 Rewind event. Look for an official announcement soon.
. 2017 was 1st year back & i didn't see one of these. Got a 93 (purple year) I'm doin now too..

I not clear what bikes are eligible, I’d like to bring the correct year/size bike so I can maximize the number of races I can enter...thanks!
Open class for bikes up to 1999 model year and the Open Age class.
Promotor classes should look something like this:
125cc up to 1989 with A, B, and C ability classes
125cc 1990-1999 with A, B, and C ability classes
Open (250cc and 500cc bikes) to 1989 with A, B, and C ability classes
Open (250cc and 500cc bikes) 1990-1999 with A, B, and C ability classes
Open Age (any eligible promotor class bike up to 1999) with A, B, and C ability classes
No schedule is out yet. As in past rewind events all promotor class moto #1 will run Saturday mixed among the AHRMA Vintage motos. All promotor class moto #2 will run Sunday mixed among the AHRMA Post-Vintage motos.
If you don’t have an AHRMA eligible bike, bring a 125cc and you can race more than two promotor classes.
There are campgrounds in the area but most stay at the track

Seriously, camping @ track (no tent option for wife- unthinkable) & the bar-b-Q's, meet new people, parties, is prob worth 2x the cost of the motorhome. Plus if it breaks down in the middle of BumFkEgypt it's on his dime not mine

Very excited for these classes! Can't wait to come up as I've never raced at Unadilla.
