Trick 89 CR250 rebuild

Managed to find this ex works 1989 CR250
Today for a steal.
Full of nice bits, with little use,
Can anyone tell me what the special fork
Caps are all about before we strip it down to see. Ill upload pics from start to finish.

Hope it's ok when you get inside the motor.

I used to have a SPES pipe on my '89 YZ125. Seemed good.

Fork is rebuilt with external rebound adjustment, please post more pictures of the actual cartridge.

Plenty of porting work
And head machined
Will strip down forks tomorrow
And upload pics

Think the fork kit was made by Aragosta (SP). I have a trick bike at home with the same.

I have a trick 1989 CR250 front end.
Apparently the WP front ends of that era were suppose to be light years ahead of the stock CR stuff.

Im building a 1990 cr125 Bayle replica, and I am going to use a set of those on that bike, closest I can get to the look of factory forks from 1990, may run another link for that rebuild on here

Sorry have never had them apart! Looks like you have a Dutch bike there or Belgium?

That must be a rare for setup in the USA? Look like correct Honda WP multi forks with Billet clamps? What is stamped on the top of the forks?
