Late 70’s- 1989. Riders were fast, faster, and super fast. Radical bike changes (air cooled, dual shocks, drum brakes to a water cooled, single shock linkage suspension and valved fork with disc brakes). However the USD $$$ was the best Particular in 70’s. Therefore buying Japanese bikes were cheap. Many bikes were sold in America 🇺🇸. Therefore more riders entered Mx. Now currency cannot buy as much motorcycle as in 70-80’s. Fewer riders can afford $10,000.00 + bikes. Value of your currency is reflective of the productivity of the people. Unfortunately corporations shipped many productive jobs overseas because labour is cheaper, no unions labour. China will soon have there time. Evolution.

I can’t argue with that. I’ll just add some good 1970s races and racers as well.
