Amazing!

This is still the best looking bike build on vital. Much as I love my 08 rm250, I'd love to have my 97 even more.

Sorry, I dont have any for sale actually. The top one is off my bike. The other two are actually going to be made into 1 good seat cover for Ryan's build. One had a ripped up side, and the other a ripped backend in the black.

Nice find! I had to do the same thing to get my lower 3 bolt clamp too.
2/14/2018 8:45pm
Stripped the anodising off and hydro blasted the clamps after spending an hour getting out a rounded off rusty bolt ?
Back to the anodisers now for an etch and clear coat

Very impressed with Throttle Jockey's work on these new replica seat covers. I know a lot of work went into getting these made, so thanks to those guys who pushed this project forward and thanks to TJ/Guts for getting it done.

I dont know that info. Last I heard this was a special order and a limited run. You should call Throttle Jockey and they'll let you know.

Because it’s cheaper and easy tondigital printing. Set up and cost is expensive for screen printing. That’s why no one will do flo colors and stuff. They the graphics guys claim it’s to expensive. Guys in other countries will make whatever you want it’s mostly our American companies that don’t want to do it. It most be a substantial amount once you add in time and labor.

Throttle jockey contacted me back saying once they finish tweaking the seat cover for its final version they are going to make a stack of them, depending on the cost I might just buy 3 of them.

Fork brace update! Bryan spotted a post that Pingree put on Instagram, spy photo of the 97RM fork brace Mitch has stashed away at PC. This was exactly what I needed to finish reverse engineering the bracket. I finally got around to updating my Solidworks models and getting them printed. The fit check went really well today, there are only some small changes to make. I had an old black fender that came on the bike (from the 90's freestyle days) that I trimmed to fit. I'm interested in going out for quotes on these brackets. It is always cheaper to order in larger quantities to save some coin. Feeling the waters to see how many others might be interested in a pair?

Throttle Jockey Suzuki of Troy replica seat covers are finalised now and I have ordered a bulk quantity. These will be selling for US$100 each and if you want the matching graphics kit they’ll be US$90 and US$40 for number plate backgrounds. Can I get an idea of how many you guys want to order please ?
Option 1 - SOT seat cover US$100
Option 2 - SOT seat cover + graphics kit US$190
Option 3 - SOT seat cover + graphics kit + backgrounds US$230

Im of course in for the bracket. That pic is the one I took of my bike for the final test fitting of the seat cover. Lined up great.

Also, PC is pulling a pipe from their platinum run for me so if you want a works version as well, call them to get on the list. Should be done in a week to two. They also said they can do the stringer tip silencer.

Will these be shipping from Australia? That could be a lot of back-and-forth from the US. I can hold a couple for you, if needed. You know how to reach me.

This is one of my favorite builds on here! Great work... there are a high number of 96-98 rm250"s for sale in my area, a few of them are very clean, I never thought much about these years for the RM250 as I was a die hard Honda guy at that time. Although I did have a friend that had a 97 that I rode and thought it had a decent engine. Of the 96-98 RM250"s which one is the best?

Thanx for the offer Ryan but I’ll be shipping these from Australia for the same price it would cost you in local US shipping. US$15 for one seat cover or US$20 for one seat cover and graphics kit.
