Does anyone know the RAL code for RM blue? Not sure why I can’t find it through google.

I think PJ1 makes just about any vintage color you could possibly want.

Thanks guys. I should have specified I am looking for powdercoat. Some folks say RAL 5010 and some 5017. From the samples in the Internet it looks like 5010.

I have used RAL 5017 if you have a part with the original color, bring it to powdercoat shop and try to match it with the color chip cards. There are a lot of variances, you could be there a while...

I've used RAL 5017 Traffic Blue for all my powdercoating.

That’s awesome. Any chance either of you have a photo of how it turned out? Thank you so much!

For reference, the front sprocket guard was not powedercoated, it is the original blue.

Here are a couple 84 RM250 frames I had done.

Ignore the shock springs as those are aftermarket and did not have them coated.

Yeah, one was a friends. I have actually restored mine twice.

Full racer restore, then put 5 seasons of chasing AHRMA and AMA vintage races, then restored it again. The second restore I did my friends bike at the same time for him.

His is in the foreground with lighter blue spring, mine is in background with darker blue spring.

Looks like I see a works performance reservoir? I have a very low hr 84 that the frame had some surface rust on, I did a nice rattle can job on the frame, Color matches well, but the paint is not durable. It is the reason I powder all my frames now when I build a bike. I may strip it back down & have the frame powder coated.
