Most have already found new homes, but I haven't put the last two on the market until now.
The first is my 1979 Honda CR250R "Red Rocket" and the other is my 1993 Honda CR250R.
The 79 is a 9.5/10 missing the original kick stand and a pair of "Tiger Claw" tires to be a 10/10.
(I have the OE bolt, nut and spring for the kickstand), can't help you with the Tiger Claws.
The 93 was built again to showroom condition using all new parts. The catch with the 93 (and it's a big one), it's missing an engine. I built the engine from all new parts and stored it in an air tight container in a mini storage unit. Some upstanding citizens cleaned out my storage unit making off with that engine, a 2000 CR250 engine and a 2000 CR500 engine along with a lot of other items. Since there is no way to build another 93 CR250 engine from new parts, I'm going to sell it as a roller. That roller gets you a brand new frame, suspension, wheels (including the OE Dunlop 490/695 combo tires), brakes, plastic, seat, everything down to the last OE Honda nuts and bolts. So if you have a 93 CR250 engine and carb, here's your chance to own something that can't be duplicated again.
I'm posting this to give the Vital crew an early look before I actively start the sales process. Both bikes come with owner manual, service manual. parts manual, tool kit and side stand if originally offered. The 93 will also come with the correct engine mounting bolts and hangers and the OE DID chain.
Also, FWIW, I'm not giving these away. So if you are a proud member of the something for nothing crowd, don't waste your time. Both bikes deserve good homes and both would make excellent additions to any serious collection:
Some pictures of the 93 as it was going together. I'll take some more when it's done.

The Shop
I was pretty bummed when those low lifes made off with all those parts from the mini storage, but that highlighted the problem I was having with adequate space. When I jumped into car racing, my bike size shop ran out of space in a hurry which is why all those parts were off site to begin with. Ironically, since the theft, I've contracted out the car support to a shop that specializes in that kind of work. They will maintain, transport and house the race car as well as provide pit crew personnel and technical support at the track. If I had this arrangement earlier, none of my stuff would have been exposed to theft. Such is life.
benchracemx, I'll send you a PM
That '79....(drool).
The thieves used a battery powered hand grinder to cut off my disc lock according to the police. Evidently, just about any lock is easy to defeat with commonly available portable power tools. On this occasion it was a crap, rainy night
and my unit was in a recess that allowed them to work unobserved.
Like any theft, it's a low blow.
Where are these available for sale? Pricing?
I PMed you with the pricing yesterday. I'll try again now.
Let me know if you do or don't get it.
Thanks
If you are still not getting my PMs, send me another PM listing your email so we can deal direct.
Thanks.
This is the exact outcome I wanted for these two, so I'm very happy.
The new owner is already working on scoring the parts to build an engine for the 93.
Here are a couple of pictures taken just before they were picked up:
They are pranksters like that....
Pit Row
