I'm on the hunt for some later 80s Sinisalo clothes to complete a few outfits. I try to put a complete set together for each bike I build.

I'd really like to find a set of. The foam scd gloves from the 80s or early 90s if anyone happens to have gear laying around they'd be willing to part with.

Thanks

I've got a pair of Sinisalo pants (in the brickyard design). They're in excellent condition. Can send pictures if you're interested.

Man I had all that stuff back in the day, the local Honda dealer sold Sinisalo... Kinda shocking how much clothes cost back then compared to today, if inflation is factored in. The quality of the euro made stuff back then was so much better than the stuff we have today though.
I'm sure I threw all my stuff away after it was worn thread bare.

Yeah Rocky, it’s been really amazing that I’ve been able to find pieces in great shape and in a wearable sizes. To me it’s part of the fun with building the old bikes. I’ve found pants for 20 dollars at used sporting good stores, I constantly search eBay, Craigslist, and offerup.

I wore Sinisalo stuff and I loved it.

My only beef unfortunately were those SCD pants. Mine didn't last but a couple months with tears at the seams everywhere... I gave up having my Mom even trying to fix them.
Unfortunately, this was of course back in the day before internet and better customer service outlets were anything like they were today.

I actually had better luck with the non-SCD Sinisalo pants. Those things lasted forever!

They were blue in the front and had some crazy 80's European pattern of multi-colored confetti squiggles with traffic lights on them. They lasted way past the style!!

I had a support ride with them back in the day and still have quite a few sets left, but $20? I would buy every pair of pants I could find at that price!
