That is one righteous bike! The 90s RMs were some of the best looking of the two stroke run, and you've really done the bike with a cool mixture of period and updates.

Hi Race Service. Nice bike. Good to see another old one getting the full monty.
I am building up an Evo YZ125K 1983. I noticed you have the GPI radiators. GPI didnt make them for the K so i sent them a set and they have reverse engineered some for me. They are also making up some yellow silicon hoses from the ones i sent them. I have also purchased a PVL digital ignition for the old girl and a Jemco cone pipe. Full build is on www.yz125k.weebly.com
Here is a pic of the bike in Carolina before i shipped it to Australia. It is still stuck in customs in Fremantle but will have the old girl soon. Good luck with your bike... you may like to join the Australian vintage mx forum on http://www.ozvmx.com/ as its full of useful info for a bike like yours and mine.

Fork guards are Kawasaki KX KYB fork. Stil needs to Suzuki KYB fork guards, frame guards and better footbeg.

Nice lower fork guard 'mounts' Tongue

Genuine and aftermarket fork guards for these are long gone so that's a good idea getting the KX fork guards. Now just to work out how to mount them more securely...

I have a brand new, in packet, NOS rear brake pedal for that bike if you're interested.

Those fork guards are the same as on my '91 KX, think they used them through 'til '94.

So jealous of that bike, can't stop looking at it. I had bikes before my '90 RM125, but when I got this bike things "clicked" and I was able to win some motos. Would love to find one again to stare at...sorry for the hijack, just some pictures i had of my '90 that brought me back in time...

I'm currently working on a 90 RM 250 and for the life of me cant find a tecnosel seat cover in that dark blue.. Also did you use a taller seat foam? If you have any idea on where to purchase that seat cover it would be greatly appreciated.
