Holy Crap! WOW. T, what do think that 125 is worth? Almost to perfect. Gotta be pricey. You were right, they do exsist. 8700 for a 400., way out of my price range. What would T-Bond do?

If, and I say if I got lucky, how do you get it from the seller? Shipping? How much to ship? Wow I'd like to give this a go.

Forward air. It will cost about $450.00 for shipping. They tie it down in a crate and away you go. Real easy. That is a real nice bike. It is better to pay a little more for the right bike than to buy a clapped out roach and then try to find all the correct parts. It is cheaper too. Go for it.

Thanks T. I will get going on this. I've never bid on anything like this. Six days to go. Just start putting out some bids and see what happens? The bike is awsome.

That bike is ok, but I think the 1975 rm 125 had a larger impact on the moto scene. I know someone who has 2 of them, 1 is in pristine condition.

T, 4250.00 cost, is there a chance for the bike? Do you just wait until the end of the bid?

Be careful to sync. your watch to ebay's watch or you could be late. I think there is a good chance you could get the bike. If you miss it, there are others.

I would avoid getting into a bidding war now. It will only drive the cost up. Decide what it is worth to you and be prepared to snipe it at that cost and to live in peace if the price escalates before then or your snipe isn't enough.

Use esnipe.com (buy enough bid points) if you are concerned about how to snipe.

Hey T, just for the heck of it, I put in a bid, and the other guys bid goes up 25.00 dollars all by itself. Is that the Esnipe thing working? Is his cost set with the Esnip, to a certain amount?

No, a snipe is only a last minute bid. Esnipe will only place your bid in the last 6 seconds or whatever time preference your set.

On Ebay, you bid your maximum, but it only shows what it took to beat the previous high bid. Someone trying to out bid you will see the bid amount go up until they exceed the maximum you bid. That's why, IMO, it's a good idea to snipe. You don't run the price up if less sophisticated bidders get into a bid war. You choose the most you will pay, and play that at the last moment when people can't react. If someone out bids you, it's because they wanted to pay more, but you avoid as much as you can not creating a situation where people blow the price up out of impulse.

Amazing bike! Good luck se7enmx!

I was just going to ask why you never see any 75 RM125s. Those things were ground breaking. The first REAL long travel suspended japanese motocrossers. I had a 74 CR 125 and when my friend bought the new tiddler RM I couldn't take my eyes off it!!

One of my all time favourite bikes those. I had just moved up to Intermediate from Junior when they came out and within a month I was bumped to Expert and then straight on to Pro. The old TM was fun to ride but those RM125S models just blew me away. Actually I was way faster on one of those than the RM125A when it arrived.

Russ, Who was that guy that rode the pre production 1975 RM125's at Saddleback during the time Hannah was riding the 250/370's? I think his last name was Anderson ( he had real long hair)

I can't remember T-Bond. I was one of the pre productions guys with Hannah and a few others guys I can't remember. From memory Watanabe came over a few times and LaPorte used to be around that time too I think. There was a guy named Anderson that rode Suzuki but I can't remember if he was a test rider or not - Scott Anderson I think, but I can't be sure.

I was one of those with real long hair until I crashed at OCIR and they had to cut it off with side cutters to get me untangled from the rear sprocket

Just as an aside, most of the bikes sold then were the M model - I think the S models went to the guys that were assisted by US Suzuki through the dealer team network or rode directly for Suzuki.
