I’d love to do this event one day. It’s a very long haul from Texas though.

I'm in again, can't wait! Go every year and had an absolute blast last year!

I am making the long journey from Indiana, and looking forward to scratching this off my bucket list! I am signing up for two of the Promoter Support Classes on my 1986 CR250. I have never been...so how is the parking there for the racers?

Thank you RonJon. I assume if you get there on Thursday night, you can get a pretty prime spot. Looking forward to spinning some laps on this track, and I am hoping for nice weather!

If you get there Thurs, you should do grass track on Fri too. Races are kind of short IMO so I try to get in as many as possible.

We’re pretty much ready. Got to finish up my 250 shock and put new bits in the powervale. It is the home of horsepower after all!!!
Shook down the 97 125 last weekend and it seems good to go! More excited about the promoter classes.
Planning on driving up Thursday and doing xc Friday along with the grass race. And moto all weekend!
If you see my pits, 739 Honda’s and a AJS with 317 stop in and say hey, there will be cold beer in our cooler for bench racing!!

maybe I'm missing it, but doesn't the AHRMA have a disc front drum rear class this year?
The AHRMA who puts on great events has made me wish I never chose a 83 KX as my vintage machine

Yes,it's called premodern and required $65.00 AHRMA Membership. I didn't know that until I committed to it. So it seems that there are 2 Racing bodies in one event. Very confusing. I signed up for the Unidilla site instead of AAHRMA.

They don’t have a 90’s class and they have a 3000 page rule book that makes me feel like I’m racing stock class at Loretta Lynn’s! Well not quite, but.
Promoter class is a run whatca brung kinda thing and maybe it’s me but it seems silly to make so many rules about riding old junky dirt bikes mostly ridden by old junky riders around in a field with no prize money involved. Being in a family that has two ISDE riders and having to to follow rules for so long perhaps I’m more burnt out on these things than other people.
Let’s face it. There isn’t a modification or part out there that is going to make me competitive against a Guy Cooper or Trampas Parker. Obviously I don’t think it’s cool to show up on a 2018 bike with a old sticker on it and call it vintage.
I just want to line up, race, get tired, get beat by as few people as possible, then drink a beer with those people and laugh about today and the old days. My .02

X-2 Rocky. I don't think the PM'S are working for me. I sent you a U-tube clip with you rocking the 83 KX Max Power. Looked very nice.

Ahmra is the national sanctioning body (think AMA for geezers). Unadilla is offfering a few “outlaw” promoter classes that do not require AHMRA membership. If you fancy running the series and accumulating points toward a series championship then riding your perspective AHMRA class is what you want. If you just want to race your 80’s or 90’s era bike with no strings attached then the promoter class is for you. Attractive since AHMRA doesn’t offer any class for late 80’s-90’s machines and I’m not bothered or motivated to chase the AHMRA series.
AHRMA does offer a weekend membership if you are just doin a one off weekend.

Did you PM it to me Nicko? I didn't get it
can you try 64maxpower@gmail.com?

I think the Ahrma does a great job of putting on events. I'm guessing I wouldn't have the chance to ride Unadilla every year without them. It's my fault for not checking the rule books before building my bike.
Hopefully the PreModern class grows into a 125/250/500 and age classes like Ultima and Historic did

Yo Rocky....great to hear you will be out there too, and looking forward to banging bars with you! I can't wait to check out your '97 CR125, and I will definitely be looking you up.

Does anyone know if they have bike washing stations there at the track ? . If it's raining we'll need it.

they do not. There is a tank on site to fill your water barrel for your pressure washer. Prepare for some mud regardless of weather forecast.

If you are camping - bring your winter clothes. It gets cold at night in that valley.

Free Thor dinner for Saturday night.

I was able to wash my bike at the big tank last year.
It was on the south side of the pits. Just past the Legends and Hero's set up

that WR looks amazing. That's a great bike for Unadilla. The Rewind track doesn't get rough like the pro track so the big power that bike makes will be fun to rip up the New York dirt.

Not just the track, the whole event is so relaxed that it makes racing fun.

you are right DTR380. I think it's the only race I've ever done where I don't get the willies waiting in staging and on the line but rather I cant wait for the card to go sideways.
My favorite part of the event is first thing in the morning before the first bike is started and the fog is hanging over the quiet track.

I got my YZ out of hibernation today and did some hot laps around the yard. It needs a few tweaks but I'm basically ready for another Rewind.
