Hello. I saw some posts about my father who passed away today early 17.11.2021.

I was hoping if anyone from this forums had photos of him racing around world at mid 80s or early 90 i would be thankful for them.

Let him ride in peace.

Very sad news. one of the great Finns in motocross.
You might want to post this to Moto-related page. It gets more views there.
Hopefully you find some good photos of your dad.

Very sorry to hear your Dads passing Anton--- what a rider- he won 500 GP race in 1991 Sweden- that must have really been quite special! Wow

I have been looking for pictures also.

Just found these two
of your Dad on the 125cc Ktm in 85- he did well. Your Dad was a super 125cc rider- quite a few podiums and top results, he was a top rider.
I think I probably watched Arto race back in those times at a couple of those races.

Some very nice footage of Arto running near the front at a few GP's back in the day.





Last film doesn't seem to show so much of Arto but he got a good 4th place in the 1st moto.


Some serious quick riders and multi World Champions in those videos- Arto could run with the best of them on his day.

I raced against your dad. He was a great rider, and you should be very proud of him.
