Pro Circuit 304 End Caps

Has anyone had any luck putting an old PC stinger type end cap on a new PC silencer? I want to order a new PC silencer for my ‘96 CR250, but the new style end caps just don’t look right on these older bikes. Seems like the end caps and the diameter of the silencer body are common for all the 250s. Am I on the right track here? Even if i have to trim the core slightly, that’s no big deal.

Just so happen to have this old PC silencer for an unknown model of 250, and would like to put this end cap to use.

I think all 2 stroke end caps should have the stinger....they just look better! I'd love one for my 2014 KTM 250sx....

Yes it goes right on. I bought a new style pc r304r shorty direct from pc and talked them into installing the stinger. They did it for something cheap like 40 bucks, not like it's hard but just saved me the aggravation. Honestly surprised I haven't seen this topic pop up more. The tone my 95 cr125 Had with that stinger was just awesome. Guarantee if u put the stinger cap on ur 96 250 it will sound great. Funny how something that little can change the sound that much

Still looking this type of silencer with stinger end cap for my cr 250 from 92.... Sad Has anybody one for sale?!
