Picking this thing up in a few hours.

1989 CR250.

I had been looking for one of these for quite a while.

In 1989 I was still racing PW50's and a CR60

I attended my first Supercross in 1989 at OKC and even raced my pw50

Guy Cooper is a good friend of mine and 89 was his last year on the CR250

I'm raiding Coops garage as soon as I get back to see what all I can find.

One of my all time favorites! My first resto was my 89 CR500, first year that the CR's really looked "modern".

You dont have the axle and brake stay that went with those Simons tripples I go from you do you?

Man that stuffs long gone.

Got this one home. I think it's a pretty good starting point. Cylinder will need re-chromed but other than that it's been kept in pretty good condition considering its age. The guy told me he had just had the shock rebuilt about a month before he caught a ring and it had also had the kicker gear replaced.
