Old motocross van

Does anyone have pictures of old motocross gp bus / camper ? Like this ? Mercedes 508, 611, T2, Vario ?

yea, I have a few from 1987 and from the Yamaha team that ran the YZM500. I will try to find them and post up, I have 5 or so pics of the van...

All of us had a 508 or 608 Mercedes Benz van in those times. We got those vans cheap as they were used all over Europe in a lot of businesses. The engine was typical Mercedes, not very fast but long lasting. Usually you built a compartment in the back for the bikes or sidecar outfit and used the rest as "living room". Happy days!

What do current Teams use in Europe as race transporters? I can't see them using large Semis because many roads can't fit them. I liked the individual rider box vans better.
What book is that Robgvx? That looks interesting

Factory GP teams use Semis.
