After 20 yrs i was able to find and buy my old race bike
1988 yz 250 motor with a 360 kit in my old 92 frame so cool
Question is the 360 rod different from the 250 or just the bore is different
I cant remember when i bought the kit if i changed the rod

The Shop
I have had two of these kits. Sold a complete one, motor and all, and have another for a project. Don't expect a bit power boost, you get mostly torque. They also need more flywheel than the stock 250, a good balance job, and a proper pipe.
Noleen made pipes specifically for this conversion, these are even more rare than the kits. I plan on putting my kit on a WR bottom end to take advantage of the greater torque for the wide-ratio gear set and the extra weight of the flywheel on the WR. I have a Noleen pipe also, but again, I recommend you approach this as a cool rare item rather than as a fire breathing, Mugen-type deal.
Would be cool when you get it done. There are a couple of super-sharp '88-92 YZ360 projects around.
