In the years around 1980 There were some pretty fancy riders around Southern Cali ..But here's what I believe..Let's say that we would have had a race pitting Norcal's finest against all those Rockstars from Socal, and say we put them on equally prepped 250 CC 2 strokes..Let's call it the"MOTOCROSS de CALI". Just maybe , overall, the Norcals would outpoint them. Just sayin...Here's My Norcal guys:
Danny Chandler
Brad Lackey
Billy Grossi
Darryl Schultz
George Holland
Ricky Ryan
Tallon Vohland
Danny Turner
Don Cantaloupi
Pat Richter
Alternates:
Bobby Moore
Dave Coupe
I had fun thinking about it, Anyway,

Larry Wosick too. Funny how they misspelled Billy Grossi's (Gorssi) name and that he was on a "Caravela" in the newspaper clip of Saers Point results above...
Moreover, 1/2 the motos will be Norcal turf, 1/2 Socal. ;-)
