It's with a very heavy heart that I learned from SGTHubbard this morning that Newmann passed away two days ago.

Between him and Pete Colins we lost two great dirt bike guys in the last 2 weeks. Make sure you live everyday like it is your last as they were both taken too soon and too sudden!!

To me Joe was a person that made me enjoy coming to this forum and vintage mx in general. He was always humble and benevolent as helped others follow the same passion as him. He was excellent at bringing old motorcycles back to the same condition as we remembered them years ago. Twice his home was flooded and both times he came back strong. I had the honor of meeting and racing with him at Unadilla. It's tragic that we lost him. I feel for his family most of all. I'm very sad he is gone

Came in thinking he must have got flooded again. Was not expecting this.

RIP Newmann.
