I just picked up this '78 XR75. This little Marty Smith Replica is going to make a great pitbike. It's a wheelie popping machine. I installed some NOS Boge shocks that I had laying around. Now I need a pipe. Anyone have a DG down pipe gathering dust?

Good find Cam. Now find a pipe, and ride it like its meant to be ridden! " title="Smile">

[quote="az2u":ad2bb]Nice XR. Check Ebay for a pipe. CamP do you mind if I ask how much you paid for the bike.[/quote:ad2bb]

I found a pipe builder in Long Beach that does 100% repros of the old DG pipes. I should have one in my hands next week!

I bought the bike from a friend of mine for $750. It's nice but it's not over restored to showroom condition. I'm going to spend $250 on the pipe and I'll probably spend another $200 on detail stuff before I'm done.

It's funny, I took it to the track this weekend and everyone wants to buy it from me.
